Privacy Policy

Hermes Swarm is a private, self-hosted AI agent system operated for the personal use of its owner. It is not offered to the public and has no external users.

1. Google user data we access

With the account owner's explicit consent, the application may access the following categories of data in the owner's Google Account, and only to the extent required by a specific operation the owner requests:

• Google Drive — files and folders, including reading, creating, and organising documents.
• Google Docs and Google Sheets — reading and writing document and spreadsheet content.
• Google Calendar — reading and creating calendar events.
• Google Contacts — reading contact records.
• Gmail — reading messages, creating drafts, and sending mail, only when the owner explicitly asks the agent to do so.

2. How the data is used

Google user data is used exclusively to perform operations that the account owner explicitly requests or configures: organising documents, maintaining a private knowledge base, managing scheduling information, and processing or sending correspondence. The data is not used for profiling, advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to those operations.

3. Storage and security

OAuth credentials and any operational data are stored only on infrastructure controlled by the application owner, protected by access controls and encryption in transit. Access is limited to the owner and to automated processes running on the owner's own systems.

4. Sharing and disclosure

Google user data is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with unrelated third parties. Data is not transferred to third parties for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes. Data may be disclosed only where required by applicable law.

5. Retention and deletion

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the application to operate. The account owner can revoke the application's access at any time through the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can request deletion of any locally stored data by contacting the address below.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

Hermes Swarm's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Changes to this policy

Any material change to this policy will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
